Three Female TV Cops in Three Words

Since the tragic demise of Dempsey and Makepeace (1985-1986 RIP) I have sat, waiting eagle eyed at my television for another sexy female cop to visually arrest me. After 25 years of enduring munters such as Juliet Bravo and the entire cast of the Bill three have come along, almost at once, and although they don't have the instantaneous wet-dream semblance of the young Glynis Barber they are well equipped with way much more than a gun and a pretty exterior. Here are the three greatest female cops on TV in the three words that describe them best.

Caroline Proust as Laure Berthaud in Spiral
Stinks, of, Sex

Sophie Grabol as Sarah Lund in The Killing (Forbrydelsen)
Stoic, Nordic, Knitwear

Kierston Wareing as Lia Honey in The Shadow Line
Britain's, got, Talent
