Wes Anderson's Hotel Chevalier (2007)

If you have seen Wes Anderson's brilliant The Darjeeling Limited (2007), then chances are you have already seen the beautiful and poignant short Hotel Chevalier (2007). The short acts as a prologue to Darjeeling, but once you've seen Portman’s clobber drop to the cobbles the main event, as enjoyable as it is, is somewhat anti-climactic. As a stand alone film Hotel is memorable, visually striking and leaves you deeply in love.
